KMC Commences New Lime Plant Construction in Partnership with CMAN

Khimsar Mine Corporation (KMC), owner of extensive chemical-grade limestone reserves in India, in partnership with Chememan Public Company Limited (CMAN), one of the world’s top ten lime producers, has officially commenced construction of a state-of-the-art lime manufacturing facility in Khimsar Village, Rajasthan, India. This ambitious project leverages India’s significant chemical-grade limestone reserves and reflects KMC’s dedication to advancing the lime production sector. The plant, expected to be completed by early 2026, will initially have a production capacity of 100,000 tonnes per year.

The groundbreaking ceremony marked the start of the project, with Mr. Dhananjai Singh, owner of KMC, and Mr. Adisak Lowjun, Chief Executive Officer of CMAN, in attendance, along with other executives and stakeholders. Spanning approximately 126 acres, the facility is designed for future scalability, with plans to increase production capacity to 500,000 tonnes annually after the initial phase. This expansion aligns with KMC’s strategic vision to drive growth in India’s lime manufacturing sector, supported by its partnership with CMAN.
